Is It Ever OK to Be a Secret Christian?

I heard recently about people living in Islamic countries who believe in Jesus but do so secretly. They attend the mosque and outwardly their lives are no different from Muslims. Only in secret do they practise anything of the Christian faith, so that they can avoid being persecuted or even killed for what they believe.

God Answers Prayers

God cares for us and even answers prayer about menial things. I asked Him to remove tail gate drivers from my car journeys. They irritate me. They also irritate a lot of other motorists. In a recent survey tail gate drivers were cited as the most annoying thing on the road. Anyway, the other day a driver decided to drive far too close to my rear bumper and stay there. This time, I waited to see what would happen. In a short while there was a roundabout, and he went another way. I breathed a sigh of relief and thanked God. Read more…

What The Bible Says About House Church.

“Day after day in the temple courts and from house to house they never stopped teaching and proclaiming the news that Jesus is the Christ.” (Acts 5:42) They did not meet in the temple proper but rather on the temple grounds or in the vicinity of the temple where the people were gathered. These were open air meetings.
